This is an earlier devlog than usual but felt the need to make this due to the amount of changes. Unfortunately, Pre-alpha 3 will not come with additional levels. This is because I am very busy with college prep and other stuff. I do not want to delay the release date so cutting this feature was the best option. Fear not though, pre-alpha 3 will include additional cinematics and a ton of features. Pre-alpha 4 will have the additional level(s).
Changes/Additions:
Footsteps SFX! (different sounds for different surfaces)
Gravity, Cryo, and Cluster Grenades! (With a new inventory system)
Expert Difficulty!
Dynamic Grenade damage (different damage for different proximity)
Collider-based melee weapons (no longer work like a gun)
Some new Weapon SFX
Gameplay balance (nerfed enemies, buffed player)
Motion Blur
Better environment (fog and foliage changes)
Clouds and Lights optimization
Version Check System
Smaller UI
Audio Balancing
Multiple QoL features
Upcoming features:
New Ammo System (Ammo type-based instead of weapon based)
Level 1 Landing Cinematic
More weapons
More animations
New Music & SFX
Bugfixes:
Hit Indicator has been fixed now and also shows up for melee and grenade damage
Drone map icon and animation fix
